If the normal experience of UKMG isn't enough for you, there's always the option of #ukmg, our IRC chatroom. Set up and maintained by Mike Whitaker, the primary function of this chatroom is to allow a small number of us to discuss norks, plot revolutions, compare soap brands and give rise to further "clique" accusations ;-)

If you want to join in, first of all you need to forget the idea of ever doing any work ever again. If you're on a dial-up connection, warn your family that you'll be connected to the Internet for around 10 hours a day from now on. Then decide how you're going to connect to the channel. There are two options...

1. Use Mike's cunningly crafted web interface.

2. Get a proper IRC client, such as mIRC for the PC or Snak or Colloquy for the Mac. If you're clever enough to use Linux, you can probably build your own robots or something, and don't need our help with something as piffling as IRC clients...

Then you need to tell the client the server name (irc.us.filknet.org), the port number (6667) and the channel (#ukmg). See you there!
